What if we really got to know each other? What if you could ask anything without judgment or offense? We think you can. The Foreign Exchange facilitates candid conversation in the tenuous territory of culture. We want you to be honest, and we’re willing to start.

Originally developed at the 2010 SummerWorks Festival, the Foreign Exchange brings together a panel of representatives from multiple diverse cultures in a performance-work that ignites complicated real-time conversations about race and culture.

The piece will be split into two sessions with an intermission.

Audiences will be asked to engage.

Be curious.
Be ignorant.
Be humble.
Be brave.
