Did You Bring Tommy? - Art Show by Tracy Horner

Prohibition has always been an area of interest for me and I decided to let it be the subject matter for this body of work.

It was a time of style, swagger and secret function. Clothes with hidden pockets for your flask, hollowed out objects for smuggling and facades to conceal liquid gold. I decided to give these hand carved pieces added function by embedding rare earth magnets in the bottom to invisibly hold your keys.

I happy and excited to finally see this show come to life. It’s been a long time coming, and what better place to have it then The Rustic Cosmos Café in Parkdale.
