Emerging from the underground scene centered around the American Midwest in the mid-nineties, Jeff Samuel burst into the consciousness of the international techno community early in his career when tracks from his very first demo was released by Dan Bell on his 7th City label back in 2001. The next year he kept it rolling when his Digital Self EP was remixed by Ricardo Villalobos and began his relationship with the Cologne-based Trapez label who released his highly anticipated and thoroughly praised LP Step in 2006.
Honing his sound through releases on additional labels such as Poker Flat and Spectral Sound, this spectrum from the minimal to the melodic is reflected in his legendary dj sets which have rocked crowds on both sides of the Atlantic, at Fabric and MUTEK among countless other venues.
Fukhouse and Tempo are pleased to present Jeff Samuel's long awaited return to Canada.
