DIY Electronics: Make your own LED Lantern

Description:
Make a lovely nightlight or patio light using an LED and jam jar. Beginners can learn to make a simple LED circuit, then advance to multi-coloured LEDs or animate multiple LEDs designs using a pre-programmed microcontroller. For a challenge, students can learn to power their jar using a solar panel.
Some soldering will be required, all materials will be provided and are included in the ticket price. Attendees are encouraged to bring alternate enclosures such as latched jars, ping pong balls or any other object which is transparent and you can place a light into!

Beginners, children over the age of 10, anybody!
