THE EXTRA SPECIAL ANIMATED CHRISTMAS SPECIAL SPECIAL

Apart from egg nog and mistletoe, animated Christmas television specials are a staple of the holidays, and one that "The Animated Series!" at the Toronto Underground Cinema is proud to commemorate with a digital presentation of Chuck Jones' classic animated adaptation of Dr. Seuss' How The Grinch Stole Christmas! along with three of other memorable animated holiday specials.

The specials that will accompany "The Grinch..." will be determined on the day of the screening by the audience, who will vote from a large selection of titles including:

Christmas With The Joker (Batman: The Animated Series)
A Charlie Brown Christmas
Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer
Frosty the Snowman
Mickey's Christmas Carol
The Simpsons Christmas Special
Xmas Story (Futurama)
The Pinky and the Brain Christmas Special.

You are also welcome to suggest other specials for the list on the event wall or the wall for "The Animated Series!" FB group, and we'll do our best to get a screening copy and include it in the vote on the day. Just be sure that they are under an hour - no feature length television movies.
