Global Marijuana March

Big smoke up in the park. At 2pm we march down the street smoking and chanting. There is live music, pipe vendors, info booths, and more. great times. Bring enough pot for yourself as most people don't bring extra to sell. The police don't bother us in Toronto but I wouldn't try bringing large amounts of weed or selling it.

The Marijuana march is a global event with over 200 cities participating in 2007. Please tell people from other parts of Canada and the world to check out the Official Global Marijuana website to find their closest participating city. The Toronto March attracts potheads from Windsor to Oshawa. There are many people who don't know of this event that would love to come. Help spread the word.

Please bring more signs and think of more chants to get people motivated. One example for a chant is Marijuana, Marijuana, Hey Hey Hey, Legalize!

For those of you who met Marc Emery at the Toronto March last year you will be glad to hear he is going to be back in Toronto in 2008.

Check at http://www.globalmarijuanamarch.org/ to see your closet participating city. If you live in or near a city that isn't signed up and you think they should, try to find some local energetic pot activists to try to organize and sign up for a march. Last year there were over 230 cities signed up and so far there are 155 signed up for 2008.
