An educator before she was known as a singer, Buffy lectures today on topics ranging from film scoring, electronic music, Native American studies, the Cradleboard Teaching Project, women's issues, and the native genius for government. As an early Macintosh pioneer in digital art, her works were among the first to be seen in galleries across Canada.
