Fabric Fabric TorontoFabric Fabric can be easily overlooked next to the depot giants that surround it. However, once it's discovered, you'll find any low to medium cost fabric ever invented. The only issue is that it's big (perhaps too big) and it can be difficult to shop without a specific textile in mind. It's definitely fun to spend hours browsing, nonetheless.

I drove almost two hours to go see this store. It was the biggest waste of time and gas. Picture a Costco-sized warehouse filled to the ceiling with bolts and bolts of terrible quality fabric from the 90's. I would skip this one altogether.

It is a short walk from me and I too found it disappointing. There is a lot of fabric, but the quality/selection was lacking despite having bolts of fabric from floor to ceiling. I went in specifically looking for cotton jersey material, and everything they had seemed to be synthetic. It was also more expensive than I thought it would/should be. Next time I'll just head to Queen West.

Agreed. It's very dark as well - so incredibly hard to see anything. Tons of stuff but not the best quality and alot of it is dirty.

I disagree to some extent, the warehouse isn't very dark where you cant determine the colours, etc. It's somewhat dark but you can still see the prints and colours, bring your glasses and a flashlight if your worried about lighting. I agree that some may be dirty but you will want to wash it first if it is. Also they have a wide range of fabrics for a decent price. I wouldn't totally dismiss this store, give it a try you may find what you looking for because I did. The ladies were very helpful.

Don't bother with this store:

I purchased foam for mattress tops and supposedly high density foam for my daughter's bed.
It was the worst cheap stuff ever. It was so terrible that it almost ripped when you sat on it and when you lay on it it pulled on your skin because it was so taugt. We could not use any of it..
