Design Stores

Cayne'sCayne's is for those who want it all - and at a minimum discount of 20%. At last look a Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer was on sale for $200, an almost 60% discount. Look for good quality but everyday brands (Wilton, Cuisinart, T-Fal) with a few higher end options and an extensive selection. Oh, and did I mention the prices are amazing?

Sure, wide selection and some good deals. But they mislead you into thinking they ship to your door. They do NOT. They make a big deal of telling you that you must be home during business hours to receive the shipment. Then they send it via Canada Post, marked "card for pick-up"!! I was home today to receive my order. The Canada Post driver was just here, with my package in hand, writing me a delivery notice. He apologized but could not leave the package. So now I have to wait until tomorrow, rent or borrow a car or hire a cab (the box is too big and heavy to walk back from the post office) to get the package that was just here today. What kind of logic is that? What consideration for their customers? What absolute nonsense and a waste of time.

This is not a Toronto store. This is an outer edges of the GTA store at best being just south of the 407

They have decent selection but there products are refurbished. Their customer service has been on a steady decline for quite some time now and you can tell they have become more concerned with products. In the past you could find plenty of knowledgeable staff working at once but now there is usually only one person who knows his stuff.

I hope they are investigated for selling refurbished products because I know for a fact I picked up a used machine before (which they replaced to their credit) but I believe that it's standard practice since most of their products don't have sealed packaging.
