Phil's espresso bar & internet cafe in The Junction offers a wide variety of hot and cold beverages and food items as well as computers with high speed internet for customers.

Unfortunately it's in a sketchier area of the Junction and suffers from "weirdos sitting by the windows".

The sign for the store looks great, except that "Internet Cafe" completely kills it for me, as does the weird window decals, the ugly-ass drapes, the 2 other "Internet Cafe" signs, and the sketchy "ATM 99c" sign you would expect to see at a 7-11.

Anybody ever try going here?

hey im gonna go there in a bit... its nice to have a internet cafe in the junction but i agree with you..

it does look kind of sketchy...

they should make BRIGHT Lights so people can see inside..
take down the atm sign.. and take down the drapes

Awful Pastries, I just purchased a Carrot Cake that was at least a month old. Hard as a rock, unable to peel the liner. Never going again.

This place is the worst. Never mind the tacky decor. Or the "Internet Cafe" signs like such a thing still exists. I went in today to grab a coffee & check my e-mail. No muffins, had to settle for a days old "croissant" in a plastic wrapper.

I asked if they had Wi-Fi, they said no. Lies. Turned on my laptop, and found a network "Phil's Espresso." Asked for the password, was denied! Apparently the owner wants people to pay to use his ancient desktop computer internet cafe!

Newsflash: wi-fi is free everywhere (Crema, Starbucks, even bars & restos etc). To deny a paying customer what is free everywhere else is ridiculous. I'll be getting my coffee at Crema in the future.

The minute you walk in you can smell smoke. It is too dark in there. The desserts are gross, old and hard. The coffee has no taste. The computers do not work there. One of the waitresses who works at night during the week is very rude to customers. She knows nothing about computers if you ask her a question. She dismisses you if she is busy talking to someone, has no manners at all. Ain't going back.

I love Phil's Espresso Bar. I used to go there when I wanted to do my school work in a peaceful and quiet coffee shop, and needed a place that was open late. If I ever need to do an emergency print job and my printer runs out of ink I just pop in to print stuff. It's a very unique place, which may not be everybody's scene, but it is very cozy, Phil is a really nice guy, they have delicious custard tarts and they turn regular powdered hot chocolate into a gourmet winter drink. I can't remember a time I have ever had less than great service. Keep up the good work and small community feel!

PhILS IS GREAT. The Service is always fast. I go to phils daily for quiet time. , I think her name is Amanda, she is so pleasant when she serves. The employees make the place feel very inviting.I can't recall ever having bad service nore an un pleasant time. Keep up the great work.

Are you kidding me? The place smells like smoke and very sketchy people in there. The desserts are horrible and the coffee is warm, not hot.

Phils Expresso is Great place, allways great service, nice coffee, I think is the best place in the junction, Great relaxing place.

I agree I go there very often, the service is very polite and fast, very peacefull place. I would not change for any place in the area. I am glad I found a place like that.
