Peacher Peacher
Peacher Peacher is where to go for bubble tea and smoothies with a full list of milk teas, fruit teas, fresh fruit juices and sodas, as well as a few dessert options.
Each drink from the lengthy menu of nearly 100 items is made using fresh fruit with the sweet-like-candy water honey peaches, which originate from Korea, featured in many of the drinks and desserts.
All smoothies, fruit teas and freshly squeezed juices come in the taller, thinner cups. While the milk teas, homemade yogurts and babos come in the shorter and rounder ones.
Seven different choices of toppings ranging from Lychee Jelly and fresh Taro to Babo Jelly and Brown Sugar Pearls can be added to your drink.
Each smoothie comes with a base of homemade vanilla gelato or sugar-free cheese foam which is also made in-house with cream, cheese, milk, and a splash of sea salt.
All milk teas with the exception of the Taro and Panna Cotta, also come with a generous dollop of the cheese foam on top and one teabag per cup for less caffeine and a fresher taste.
Taro Milk Tea ($7.99) is a staple, made with freshly cut taro that's grown on a farm in China.
If you'd prefer to avoid dairy products, there's a long lineup of fruit teas, freshly-squeezed juices and fresh fruit sodas.
The Berry Berry Fruit Tea ($6.99), made with jasmine green tea, and a freshly squeezed combination of strawberries and blueberries, is one of the most popular.
Though I'm sure the drinks will be more than enough to satiate any and all sugar cravings, there are also a few unique desserts that are made in-store. The Taro Cupcake ($9.99) combines earthy and nutty taro notes with pork floss and the sweet cheese mouse for an interesting flavour trio.
While the Panna Cotta ($8.99) is prepared with their cheese mouse and comes with layers of strawberry and peach in the middle.
The independent bubble tea shop, Peacher Peacher is the first of its kind, located right downtown on Yonge Street. You'll be able to spot it among the other shops by the round pink peach on its storefront.
