Balzac's Coffee (Liberty Village)
Balzac's Coffee in Liberty Village is one of three current location of the Balzac's burgeoning coffee empire. Like the Distillery location, this one is pretty to look at but the coffee could use an upgrade.

Not overcrowded with morning lineups like Starbucks,
However, The wifi sucks!!! Slow and choppy
and half the time it doesnt work at all...isnt that why people pay
4 bucks for a latte?
Thumbs down for the wifi service.

I was in your store on October 12th, 2012. I have postponed this email as I have been very ill. On that evening, at around 6.30 pm, as I awaited the arrival of my companion to watch the Canada-Cuba World Cup soccer match at BMO Field, I re-entered Balzac's. The same lady I had rightfully complained about, "Shireez", offered completely different to previous and satisfactory customer service. Don't know if it was as a result of my pro-activeness.
As I eagerly awaited my normal double-espresso, which I was going to purchase with the little bit of value left on my black Balzac's plastic card, an older gentleman, perhaps
in his fifth or sixth decade of life, clearly said the following within earshot of myself and patrons patronizing your establishment: "You really earned that coffee".
I am not amused. This is a mean-spirited, insulting and humiliating remark. And, the decision to offer this gift
card to me by Balzac's was to attempt to win my business!
Thank you for your time.
