boring beer selection, bland, empty on a saturday night
I have had the pleasure of spending some time at The Yard. I had no problem selecting a beer from their menu. They have for sure a dozen on tap but I am not a big beer connoisseur as long as it's cold and my glass frosted - which it was. I was there with some friends to watch the Leafs play during the week and there was a pretty a good crowd. We ordered a couple of different items to share and the food was good especially the wings and the fries were excellent. Everything was fresh and hot.
The Yard has been great since the day it opened, how else can you explain it's impressive run of over 25 years in a very high maintenance neighbourhood. Food is always good, beer selection is wide, cold and fresh, service friendly. Only thing I don't like is their grumpy neighbour who makes the patio close at 10pm. Yard is A-Ok in my books
