With the disappearance of Queenshead Pub at Queen & Bathurst, the strip was aching for a dark, cool and not-so-chic bar for locals to kick back in. The Queenshead folks didn't abandon locals, of course... 751 opened up a little further west and is filled with eclectic vintage furniture lit only by dim lights and their reflections in the cheap drinks.

that new front door guy who looks like he's from quebec city is a retard, he checked my id twice because he can't speak english. he said you can't come into pub en ville tonight.. last time i checked it was called 751.. fire him

Just got home from the Street Fighter II SNES tournament. I have Mortal Kombat II for SNES and there was significant interest in an MKII tourney; hit me up and I'll hook you up.
751 has really turned around. i was there about a year ago and that bar had a major ego. this time around was fuckin fantastic. The party was great, the staff super friendly. The new manager is the best, and the drinks were cheaper then i remember!

That was just Jesse the Bartender...... he's harmless except will stand there till you tip him .... I think his mother dress's him !!! not to sure though !!!

OK so I was there last Friday annnndddd lets see. It was pirate night. Awesome. They had lotsa booze. Awesome. Some people had fantastic costumes. Awesome. DJ Lora.. playing oldschool metal. Awesome. Downstairs is like this... other entity haha. They had house and electro.. unexpected and yep... Awesome. SO yeah.. no rats, nice staff, a proper dive. Whether it want's to be one or not. Check it out, I'll go back for sure.

Life would be so boring if every pub was for guys in suit and tie. You need few with thugged up door guy and rat infested washroom. Not the best place for a first date but I had great time having few drinks with friends.
