Sweet Tooth
There's nothing quite like Sweet Tooth on the Danforth. Susur Lee's son rated it them the best cupcakes in Toronto in a recent taste test. There are many varieties to choose from, most with fun, sparkly, sprinkly stuff like the two above.

My faves are Its the Icing on the Cake, and Madeleine's Cherry Pie and Icecream's mini cupcakes.
a friend's birthday party. I purchased a variety of flavours as they all looked delicious. Unfortunately, to my surprise and embarassment, the cupcakes were as hard as rocks and iced with what seemed to be a form of dried out glue. I'm not sure how old they were but considering I paid a premium ($42/dozen) I was expecting them to at least be fresh. I will not be buying or recommending anyone to purchase anything from Sweet Tooth in the future. Although they looked delicious they turned out to be a huge disapointment.

EXACTLY. I'm a native Torontonian who was fortunate enough to live in Calgary for a bit. Crave Cupcakes - THE BEST.
Way too expensive for what it is. They need to focus less on the pretty and more on the quality.
One advice, try The Sweet Escape Patisserie in the Distillery district, you won't regret it. Everything is homemade, and they have other stuff like sandwiches/ice creams...
It's one of my favorite place :)
Danforth lacks a good cupcake shop and sadly sweettooth misses the mark badly.
Bonjour Brioche makes amazing fresh pastries and breads, give it a try and the brunch is amazing.
I wasted some hard earned money on a cake based on curiosity and the pretty display, but once you cut into the cake you get a junky, dry, and I was embarrased to have served it. I will miss my $50 and will never, ever buy anything from Sweet Tooth. So many better options out there.
I have a question that has nothing to do with cupcakes - did you graduate from St.Robert's HS -about 25 years ago?
first they over charged me by $1, and it was just horrible.
i made the mistake of asking if their stuff is house made, and i was told that they buy all their stuff. Sweet Tooth is one place I'll never visit again. In fact, I hope you guys remove it from your top ten cup cake list
If you have to rely on reviews from Children you know something's wrong. Sweet Tooth is terrible plain and simple.
Never trust a 'patisserie' that doesn't make it's own stuff. If you want junk pastries for very high prices this is the place.
And to be honest their service is also very poor, considering that anywhere else you go to have a dessert on the Danforth is a fun and enjoyable experience. Have not gone back, even though I am tempted by the look of the items I need to remind myself how untasty the items truly are.
I was also shocked by how expensive everything is here. They bring in refrigerated cakes and pastries and try to pass them off as fresh. This is nothing but a distribution centre and their suppliers are low quality.
Looks are not everything. It may look beautiful, but the taste just isn't there. Without taste, why bother? Plus, those prices are ridiculous!
