Dong Dong Pastries is a Chinese bakery located in a strip plaza in Richmond Hill. They are most popular for their amazing all-day pineapple bun deal, in which they sell 3 for $1. Considering that other bakeries sell them at around $1 each, it's a sweet steal (pun intended). They taste even better when eaten fresh out of the oven. Contrary to the name, there are no pineapples in pineapple buns, but rather the name is derived from the golden-brown, checkered top crust which resembles a pineapple.
