Gallery Space: Stripped Down.
August 24th -- This weekend in the Gallery Space...
First off, a correction:
Last week I mentioned the TSV spotlight-on-a-member featuring Jesika Joy. That event was postponed out of respect to the late Roberto Ariganello, and so it will open tonight, August 24th, instead.
Now then, *ah hem* the feature item. Gallery TPW, as you may know, has been raising money for the construction of their new gallery at 56 Ossington Ave. August 25th, they take their fundraising to a whole new level.
STRIP-O-RAMA, an evening of burlesque-esque performances, takes place tomorrow night at the Gladstone Hotel Ballroom (1214 Queen W) and will feature many of the city's "most notorious artists" (they said it, not me!). Doors open at 9pm and the stripping begins at 10pm. Admission is $10 or $8 for gallery members.
