god.gifTime to get your geek on. That's right. As is their custom on the second Tuesday of every month, the Gathering of Developers (GOD) are hosting a get together upstairs at the Monarch Tavern. This week's special guest is Lynx Browser author and early Mosaic (Netscape) trooper Lou Montulli.

Montulli is as much of a code monster as they come. He's responsible for innovations like cookies, server push and client pull, HTTP proxying, and HTTPS over SSL. But at the end of the day, all that stuff is useless. By far his greatest invention is the Fish Cam. So if you want to talk code, watch sports, drink beer and find out how he gets those fishies to pose for the camera, this is the place to be.
