Free Films at the NFB

Toronto is indeed a city for film lovers and the curious can always find something to watch on any given day. The NFB offers city dwellers and visitors a unique avenue to view films, and guess what... it doesn't cost a cent!

The National Film Board's Toronto Mediatheque offers personal viewing stations with a directory of over a thousand films to choose from. The genres vary from documentary and narrative features to animation and short films. There are six single and eight double viewing stations and a touch screen directory to order up your chosen film.

If you have anywhere from 15 minutes to two hours to kill, walk over to the NFB at Richmond and John, ask for a viewing code at the desk and get comfortable at a viewing station. If you're not happy with your selection, you can stop a film mid-way and pick another one.
