Heart On Your Sleeve Grand Opening

Add one more boutique store to your list of places to visit next time you're in Kensington Market. On Thursday, local retailer Heart On Your Sleeve hosts the grand opening of its store at 61A Bellevue Ave. Judging from its respectable list of independent and eco-friendly brands, this may turn out to be Toronto fashionistas' one-stop shop for sustainable clothing.

Previously, Heart On Your Sleeve only sold products online or at special events like the Green Living where it officially launched. Its retail location carries Canadian designers like Passenger Pigeon, Salts Organics and Precocious.

Thursday's festivities start at 5 p.m. with the ribbon-cutting at 6 p.m. and fashion show at 8 p.m. There will be special guests like the Adria Vasil the Ecoholic and live music.
