ice storm toronto

Re-live the ice storm with this gorgeous timelapse video

In the wake of the ice storm that crushed Toronto in December, I recall being somewhat surprised that there wasn't a whole lot of video documentation of the frozen mess, and in particular no stunning timelapse sequences capturing our encased city. Well, it took a while, but here's a good one from Sunchaser Pictures, which will send you back to the icy week that saw altogether too many people in the cold. As painful and inconvenient as the storm was, it had a certain terrifying beauty, something that this video captures well.
