Toronto brewery causes confusion over sudden closure

Kensington Brewing Company has seemingly closed their doors with no notice and no public announcement.

Both the Kensington Market location and their second location in Vaughan are marked as temporarily closed on Google.

The last Instagram post on their official account dates back to late November 2022.

Neighbourhood residents have expressed confusion over the sudden closure online, especially with patio season and warm weather around the corner.

Upon further investigation, blogTO has confirmed Mascot Brewery, has acquired the brewery.

A representative confirmed it is closed for renovations and that they have plans to re-open at some point in the future.
