This is what the Toronto Raptors dressed as for Halloween

Halloween may have fallen on a Monday in 2022, but that didn't stop the Toronto Raptors from living it up on Halloweekend, with the team hosting its annual costume throwdown.

The team celebrated the peak of the spooky season with a Halloween party on Saturday night, an annual tradition that sees players and front-office staff go all out on their costumes.

Last year, it was new addition Scottie Barnes who stole the show with his Joker costume, but it was the team's established veteran who got the spotlight this time around.

Raptors' star power forward, Pascal Siakam, may have won Halloween with his costume, showing up to the party as a dead ringer for rapper 50 Cent, or in this case, 43 Cent.

Spicy P donned a bulletproof vest, sideways cap, and a pair of chains with cross pendants, perfectly replicating a famous promo image of the rapper.

Teammate Chris Boucher went back to Halloween basics with a traditional scary costume, attending the team party dressed as an evil clown.

But it was apparently team president Masai Ujiri who impressed attendees the most, with Raptors' power forward Precious Achiuwa telling sports reporter Lindsay Dunn that "Masai was the best dressed as Eddie Murphy's character Prince Akeem Joffer, the prince of Zamunda from Coming to America."

Raptors players make a splash every fall (the Halloween shindig was scrapped for obvious reasons in 2020) with their creative seasonal get-ups.

Highlights from previous years included Fred VanVleet and girlfriend Shontai Neal, who attended the 2019 bash dressed in couples costumes as Fred and Wilma Flintstone.
