A Taste of Caribbean Jazz
I'm looking forward to the Caribbean Jazz concert tonight at the Mod Club. If it's anything like the last JazzByGenre event, it should be pretty tight.
Andy Narell, Kobo Town, KellyLee Evans, beatboxer Subliminal, and Legendary Calypsonian David Rudder? That's a dope Sunday night right there.
I spoke with Rudder earlier this week and according to him, Caribbean Jazz is jazz "spiced up," incorporating elements of pan and Caribbean sensibilities.
