Toronto-born actor and star of 'Heartland' Robert Cormier dies at 33

Toronto actor Robert Cormier has died in Etobicoke at the age of 33 due to injuries suffered from a fall.

First reported by The Hollywood Reporter, the article states Cormier died at an Etobicoke hospital while an obituary from the Ridley Funeral Home states he died on Sept. 23.

"He is survived by his parents Robert and Lisa, his sisters Brittany (Derek), Krystal, and Stephanie, his grandmother Joanne, and aunts, uncles and cousins. Robert is predeceased by his grandfather Bobby, as well as his grandparents Connie and Keith," reads the obit.

Cormier is most known for his portrayal of Kit Jennings in the Netflix series Slasher and Finn Cotter in CBC's Heartland.

He also made appearances in the 2019-series Ransom, and 2016's Designated Survivor.

According to this IMDB page, he graduated from film school in 2014 and from Texas A & M with a degree in fire and engineering extension services.

He also attended York University for Worlds Economics.

Since the news of his death broke, tons of condolences have poured in from Cormier's fellow actors and friends, and the Twitter account for Heartland.

Weirdly, lots of people on Twitter have falsely claimed Cormier died from a CV-19 vaccine, which is untrue. Multiple publications have indicated he died from a terrible fall.
