Toronto vintage crawl

The Toronto Vintage Crawl is tonight

For the Vintage Crawl Toronto (VCTO), stores stay open late and offer shoppers treats (sometimes even beer and wine) as they scrounge for treasures from a bygone time. And, the next one kicks off tonight at 5 p.m.

This event, founded by Leah Gust and run along with creative director James Harrison, happens twice annually, during spring and fall. Usually, the VCTO is limited to vintage emporiums in the west end. However, Sourced and Salvaged and Common Sort in Riverside -- which are both east of Yonge -- will be participating tonight. To cover as much ground as possible, you can plan your route here.

You'll be able to shop until 11 p.m. This will give have plenty of time to search for vintage staples such as floral frocks, high-waisted mom jeans and outlandish costume jewellery. Here's some inspiration from the spring 2014 VCTO.

Will you head out on the VCTO? Let us know in the comments.
