Toronto cafe slapped with 11 infractions by health inspectors

A Toronto coffee shop was flagged for 11 infractions during a recent inspection by health officials.

Cafe Plus at 3200 Dufferin St. was issued a conditional pass notice on March 20.

It's a casual coffee shop serving croissants, bagels, sandwiches and wraps.

Three of the 11 infractions were crucial, with one crucial infraction for handling ice in an unsanitary manner (so maybe skip the iced coffee).

The other two crucial infractions were for failing to ensure the food handler washed their hands and to protect food from contamination.

There were also three significant infractions, which included failing to maintain handwashing stations with liquid soap and paper towels.

The other five infractions were all minor, and included not maintaining the food handling room in sanitary condition with clean floors and free from materials regularly used.

All infractions are listed on the DineSafe website.
