  • Souk Tabule in the Canary District is now open at 500 Front St. It serves Middle Eastern brunch, lunch and dinner.
  • Southern Italian restaurant Masseria, with chef Rob LeClair (formerly of the McEwan Group), is now open at 577 King St. W.
  • Farside, the newest bar from the Handlebar and The Avro team, opened at at 600 Gerrard St. E.

  • Market 707 vendor Gushi is expanding. The second location opens on September 15 at 238 Queen St. W.
  • MoRoCo Chocolat is setting up shop in the old Frangipane space at 215 Madison Ave.
  • As previously reported, the Playa Cabana group will open Dolly's, a Pinoy Mojito bar, at 1285 Bloor St. (formerly the Whippoorwill).
  • Skwish gastro pub is taking over the high turnover address at 1192 Queen St. E., which was most recently PO Box 1192
  • FAMO, a new sandwich shop, is coming soon to 122 Sherbourne St.
