Toronto Food Events: Night It Up!, Junction Night Market, Ontario Oyster Fest, Momo Crawl TO

Toronto Food Events rounds up the most delicious festivals, pop-ups, winemaker dinners, supper clubs and other food related happenings in Toronto this week and next. You can find us here every Friday morning.

THIS WEEK

  • Night It Up! is on this weekend from July 15 to 17 at the Markham Civic Centre (101 Town Centre Blvd.). Modelled after night markets in Taiwan and Hong Kong, this outdoor festival promises food trucks, a market place and live performances.
  • The Junction Night Market is this Saturday, July 16. Join the fun on Pacific Avenue, (just north Dundas Street West) from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
  • The TD Festival of South Asia is this weekend in the Indian Baazar on Gerrard Street East from Coxwell to Greenwood. Admission is free, while food will cost $1 to $5 and will feature dishes from across South Asia.
  • The Ontario Oyster Fest takes over the alley behind Rodney's Oyster House on Sunday, July 17 starting at 1 p.m. Admission is $35 and includes two drinks and one plate of oysters (or a hot food item).

UPCOMING

  • Momo Crawl TO takes place in Toronto's Little Tibet (Parkdale) on Sunday, July 24 from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. Purchase your momo passport for $20 to enjoy 10 different dumplings from nine local restaurants.
  • The Toronto Bakers Market is also back on Sunday, July 24 from noon to 4 p.m. at the Ralph Thornton Centre at 765 Queen St. E., in Leslieville.
  • PintxosTO returns for its third year on Sunday, August 14 at the Liberty Market Building at 171 East Liberty St. Tickets are $10 for the celebration of tapas served by local chefs, pop-ups and caterers from across the GTA.
