Beer to be sold at some Toronto supermarkets tomorrow

It looks like Christmas has come early in Ontario because certain grocery stores will start carrying beer as early as tomorrow, December 15, reports the Toronto Star today.

While it isn't clear yet which stores will be selling six-packs, we do know that 25 GTA supermarkets are slated to start stocking beer before the end of 2015. These include massive chains like Loblaws, Metro, Walmart and Sobeys. However, one confirmed location is the Leslieville Loblaws at Leslie and Eastern.

As the Star notes, however, grocery stores won't start selling wine (outside of in-store Wine Racks) just yet.
