A few months ago I wrote about Monsieur Felix & Mr. Norton. I mentioned that their cookies were a "treat for the system". I also mentioned that, at 89 cents each, the cookies should be viewed as a luxury.

If Dan had left a phone number, I would call him immediately and ask for my money back. I would then challenge him to a duel in a back alley were I would commence to beat him with my shoe. Let me explain....

Firstly, JS Bonbons is rarely open. I visited their location on Dupont & Davenport four times before I got chocolate into my mouth. Secondly, their prices are downright ridiculous. I paid $14.85 for ten truffles! I tried the salted caramels and the bourbon-pecan truffles just like Dan suggested. They were delicious; I got a momentary sugar-high, too, but for that price I'd rather just shoot heroin. Paying a buck for a chocolate treat the size of a feline-testicle seems ridiculous to me. Ridiculous.
