Winter Torotno

Uh-oh, it's beginning to feel a lot like winter

With temperatures hovering below the freezing mark this morning and the Santa Claus Parade set to go this afternoon, winter is very much on my mind. In the past I've posted alternately beautiful and buzz-killing photographs of snow to mark the arrival of the cold weather, but this year I think I found something better.

Although fall technically continues until December 21, last November was the first in over 150 years in which no snow fell in Toronto. So given that we're unlikely to escape twice in a row, it's probably about time to get mentally prepared for the white stuff. Check out this video from Sam Javanrouh for a rather stark reminder of the transformation on the horizon.
