Gore Vidal

An Evening with Gore Vidal

In a one night only event at the Elgin this evening, outspoken journalist, novelist, and all-around political critic extraordinaire Gore Vidal will have a chat with The New Yorker writer, Adam Gopnik.

Vidal is widely known for his criticisms of US foreign and domestic policies, as well as his essays and published works that broke ground on sexual identity and homosexuality. He's also a renowned novelist and playwright with a veritable ton of published works under his belt.

In what will no doubt be an evening of political extremism (and intrigue?), whether you agree with his views and opinions or not, I don't see any reasonable excuse to miss this.

The talk is part of LuminaTO's Illuminations series of events, and will kick off tonight at 8pm at the Elgin Theatre. Tickets are $25 and are available through Ticketmaster via the LuminaTO event page.
