Sculpture Garden Puts Out Call for Submissions

The Toronto Sculpture Garden (115 King St E) is getting set for another groundbreaking year and, as such, is looking for new artists, new ideas, and, naturally, new sculptures.

A call for submissions is on now, so if you've got any experimental ideas on how to use this interesting piece of public space, it's time to get them down on paper.

Don't worry about funding it right now either... just come up with and idea and a budget as the TSG is willing provide up to $20,000 dollars to sculptures they choose to commission.

Deadline is May 15th, 2007 and these are the requirements:

- Drawing(s) showing dimensions and materials and the location of the work on the site.
- Brief statement of Theme
- Budget showing materials, installation/removal, transportation, and critical costs
- 10-20 slides or photographs of related work

More specifics and supporting docs are available at the Toronto Sculpture Garden website.
