LuminaTO Gets New Website, Coporate Sponsor, Ambient Music

Fresh off an announcement about corporate sponsorship, Toronto's new festival of the arts, LuminaTO, just launched a brand new website. Much more navigable than version 1.0, the new site contains a whole whack of information, including an all-important calendar of events and a list of helpful tips for getting the most out of the fest.

Get your planners out now, because it looks like it's going to be a busy kick-off to the summer. I've already bookmarked a night to see Book of Longing, a collaborative performance between Philip Glass and Leonard Cohen which, if my calculations are correct, will make both my heart and my head explode from the sheer awesomeness of the artistic talent in the room.

The festival runs from June 1 - 10, and features both ticketed and free events. Tickets for the not-so-free events go on sale Monday, April 16th at 10:00 am.
