NY Times Has it Wrong

In an article that appeared in Wednesday's travel section, the New York Times highilights the "unprecedented cultural growth and architectural renaissance" occuring in our city.

The ROM, Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts, Young Centre and Jamie Kennedy all get props, but none, the Times claims, are the main attraction why any tourist would want to visit here. That would be, right, a musical with some Hobbits.

Just in case there's some confusion, I wanted to make it clear to the New York Times (because I know they're fans) that Toronto's future is not tied to the success of the Lord of the Rings. Maybe the future of some overpriced and underwhelming restaurants on the King Street strip, but that's about it.
