Contest: Win a pair of tickets to inTO at Harlem Restaurant with Brendan Canning
The first inTO event was a rousing success, filling west-end restaurant Kitch with music and culture lovers. The goal of the monthly series is to connect artists and local celebrities with the public through authentic and intimate experiences. Organized by Sceneopolis, the next event--dubbed Ah Sey One--promises to take attendees on a musical history of reggae.
The event coincides with the 50th anniversary of Jamaica's independence, and will be hosted by Cameron Bailey. Musical guests will be The Sattalites, two-time Juno Award-winners and Canada's longest standing reggae group, as well as Brendan Canning, formerly of Broken Social Scene. Throughout the night, guests will enjoy Jamaican-inspired food and drinks from Harlem Restaurant. For updates, follow Sceneopolis on twitter, and don't forget to weigh in using the hashtag #righthereinTO.
