The Team: The Netherlands

World Cup History: The Dutch perenially field strong teams and their smooth style of play has earned them the nickname "The Clockwork Orange" because of their organge jerseys. Despite their talent they have never won the World Cup, but made the finals twice in 1974 and 1978.

Favourite player: Dirk Kuyt

How far do you think your team will go in the tournament?: They're going all the way. Especially now that they've knocked out Brazil, they can win it all.

What's the key to your team's success this year?: I think their coach Bert van Marwyk is the key to the teams success. The Dutch are a team of ego maniacs that need strong management to drive the team to victory.

Where will you be watching the games?: In the newsroom at work.

Any pre-game rituals?: This is a stupid question, no.

Which team is your most hated rival and why?: Germany. There is a long history between the two countries both on and off the football field. Also, West Germany beat us in the World Cup final in 1974.
