The Roots take a break from Fallon outside City Hall

The Roots took a break from their regular late night TV gig on Jimmy Fallon to make a live appearance at Nathan Phillips Square in Toronto last night, marking the halfway point for the 2010 Toronto Jazz Festival. As always, the hip hop legends delivered an incredible show that left the crowd chanting for more.

Having just released their eleventh studio album How I Got Over last week, The Roots were eager to show off their new material. Check out my photos from the show:
