Toronto Kickball

Battle of the Kickball Bands

Toronto Kickball is on the rise; this is something that can't be denied. Last season, more and more people met up at Alexandra Park each week to get together, sport high socks and kick some balls! Having been someone who felt a little out of place participating in Kickball at first, it was a blast after the first at-kick. The community has grown and it will continue to grow as the 2007 season quickly approaches. However, because of Toronto Kickball's quick growth, there's fundraising to be had. What better way to go about it but a BATTLE OF THE BANDS competition!

This Saturday night at the White Orchid (812 Dundas West), Toronto Kickball will be having a fundraiser to support the upcoming season which begins on May 6th! It's a "Battle of the Kickball Bands", starring 8 acts that feature kickball players, as well as artwork from some more of our talented players.

Cover is $5 before 11 pm, and $7 afterwards, and the money raised from this event goes towards making sure that Toronto Kickball can continue to be free, fun, and friendly all summer long. Bring your friends, make some new ones--and get into the kickball spirit on Saturday starting at 9 pm!
