Last year, the Over The Top Festival, run by Toronto's (well, Thornhill's) own Eric Warner was in its fifth year and was beginning to show steps of major success with tons of press and lots of happy show-goers. Now, Over The Top Fest (MAY 3-6) is back for another year of the same kind of awesome variety in music. However, there's a new addition to the annual fest: film: film, theatre & art. This will be the first time Over The Top Fest will be attempting this and, in all likeliness, should be a great success as there are a great number of talents to show off their keen skills to us all.

Over The Top Fest released information about the artists who will be performing, along with information regarding the festival's launch party. Artists who are confirmed for the festival so far are:

*Mt. Eerie
*Matt & Kim
*Japanther
*The Explorers Club
*Julie Doiron
*The Hylozoists

The festival launch party will happen on Thursday, March 8th at the Tranzac (292 Brunswick) with the following:

*Harry and the Potters
*Germans(all ages record release)
*Brent Randall & His Pinecones

The show begins at 7PM SHARP and, as the OTTF ritual goes, it's All Ages. $10 at the door. There will most likely be NO advanced sales.
