Toronto's Kitchen Library set to open in Regent Park

Toronto's Kitchen Library is opening its second location at the Centre for Social Innovation at the Daniels Spectrum in Regent Park this week.

Since kitchen appliances are expensive and inevitably end up collecting dust, this service, which fits into the sharing economy (think Uber, Airbnb and Rover) gives you access to an array of devices allowing you to whip up Pinterest-worthy projects and recipes without a steep investment.

The original Kitchen Library is located inside Living City Health at Yonge and Eglinton. Both locations let you borrow an appliance for up to seven days. It's $15 for a one-time loan or $9 per month for a yearlong membership.

The Kitchen Library's Regent Park location will open its doors on November 5. It'll also host a grand opening event that day starting at noon.
