Labatt is buying Toronto's Mill Street Brewery

Toronto bars are already filled with Mill Street Brewery taps. Now, brews such as Mill Street Organic are poised to become even more commonplace across Canada because Labatt Breweries has bought out this local craft beer enterprise.

According to the Canadian Press, Labatt acquired Mill Street for an undisclosed amount of money. It's hoping to expand its craft beer portfolio while introducing Mill Street to other Canadian markets.

While we don't know how much Labatt paid for this acquisition, the Canadian Press reports that the beer giant will be investing $10 million into Mill Street to bolster its brewing activities. And, once again, the definition of craft beer becomes even murkier.
