Toronto casino dealer allegedly conspired with clients in major theft investigation

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged multiple people in connection with illegal activities at a Toronto casino.

According to the OPP, officials were contacted with allegations about a casino worker who was alleged to be colluding with guests at the Woodbine Casino in Toronto for personal profit.

Though details are sparse about the potentially illegal casino event, five people were arrested and charged under the criminal code. The majority of these charges have to deal with theft.

Etobicoke resident Arthur Segovia, 52, has been charged with criminal breach of trust, cheat at play, theft over $5,000 and fraud over $5,000.

Three Toronto residents have been charged with cheat at play, theft over $5000 and fraud over $5000 as well. They are named as Khalil Evans, Donovan Smyth-Todd and Daniel Hatton. Oakville resident Andrew Gayle-Bourne was also charged by police.

All five men have been released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Toronto at a later date. Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
