Michael Ignatieff

Iggy busts a move at Much

The Liberal Party Express stopped by MuchMusic yesterday where leader Michael Ignatieff proved he's just like your dad with at Mojito at a wedding. That's right, there was twisting.

Iggy made his three-day stop in the GTA as part of his cross-Canada tour. The federal Liberal Leader took a moment to answer questions from a 17-year-old interviewer (d'awww!), then asked to see the video "Wavin' Flag" from Rexdale's own K'naan.

"There's this young Canadian guy who has become a global star, K'naan, with the World Cup and I'm a big soccer fan and he made us really proud," Ignatieff said. "Wavin' Flag, that's the one I want to hear."

Then came the steel drum dancing, and yes, there was a conga line.

Good job, Iggy. If dancing won't win the hearts of Canadian voters, well then I just don't know what will.

Check out the video below. For something a bit more serious, have a look at our interview with Ignatieff published yesterday.
