Bubble Battle Toronto

Photos of the 2011 Bubble Battle

The 2011 version of the annual Bubble Battle put on by Newmindspace took place on Saturday under bright sunny skies in the public square adjoining Matt Cohen Park at Spadina and Bloor. This location seemed better suited to the concept than last year's venue at Queen's Park, where the bubbles tended to get lost in the trees.

The crowd, while somewhat smaller than previous years, let fly with multicoloured bubbles for a couple of hours on a perfect summer evening to the usual assortment of baffled and delighted stares of passing pedestrians and drivers. You can keep track of other quirky Newmindspace events like this one via its website or Facebook page.
