A Look at Iraq at Lennox Contemporary

I finally made it to Lennox Contemporary today to take a look at Unembedded, four independent photojournalists images of the war in Iraq.

The work is stunning and has breadth, as each photojournalist offers different angles on the war, almost all of them from the perspective of those being liberated under siege. The photo above shows a young boy watching his mother die at a hospital, having already seen the rest of his family killed when their home was bombed by US forces.

The exhibit runs untill May 28th.

Lennox Contemporary is at 12 Ossington Ave, just north of Queen
