Siteway Lit Lights Up Richmond Street

Last night, Canadian artist Antony Hare practically lit up Richmond West with his Siteway Lit exhibit. I'd forgotten the address at home and couldn't remember if it was THE Richmond or where, but when I came across the bright white glow emating from the windows of 477 Richmond, I knew I'd found it.

The exhibit showcased illustrated faces (ranging from M.J.Fox to Woody Allen) that were screenprinted on plexiglass and then illuminated by high-powered flourescent sign/light boxes. A novel idea and an one heck of a bright show.

Hopefully Antony will be showing some more work some time soon. For now, the artwork of Siteway Lit is featured on his website, powered by your computer screen.
