Both Numero# and Omnikrom have played striking shows on their own in Toronto, but tonight they are partnering to bring-it-up at The Social.

If you were left with a little emptiness for French electro-pop after Yelle's concert last month, which was certainly one of the best concerts of the spring, tonight just might top it.

Numero# is duo Pierre Crube and Jérôme Rocipon whose love for pop music has made a DIY pop band that produces catchy danceable songs. They often follow the verse-chorus-verse-chorus structure with the pure intention of creating light, fun music without irony - just pure love for pop music (big budgets and big production not required).

Omnikrom is the trio of MC Jeanbart, Linso Gabbo, and producer Figure 8. They've developed quite a reputation in the urban scene in Montreal for their unique combination of French Rap with electro beats and great production. Their style is comparable to that of Parisian band TTC. Numéro#'s feat, Omnikrom hit track Chewing-gum Fraise was one of my most played songs last year. Check out the video - it's pretty good too.
