Talking fashion with TFI: The Building a Brand

The New Year brings more fact filled seminars from The Toronto Fashion Incubator. I've had the pleasure of being invited to two seminars using the new webcasting feature, Working with Stylists and What Buyers want. On Janurary 24, TFI presents Building a Brand the first seminar in 2007.

Tara Brown and Darren Mahaffy will discuss what is branding, how to define your brand equity, brand consistency and the benefits to your business. Tara and Darren are the Associate Directors from P&G. This super-company is behind over 100 products and located in 180 countries. It's a complete beast to be honest, 140,000 employees worldwide.

This is the third of six-part speaker series called The Business of Beauty. It targets aspiring designers and aims to provide relevant information that will help people succeed in the industry. P&G also happens to be the series sponsor.

The seminar will be held at The Toronto Fashion Incubator headquarters, 106 Dovercourt Rd and starting at 6pm. If you cannot attend the in-person event or the tickets are sold out, you can try the webcast. I've had great success with it and you get the benefit of a transcript of the seminar. Tickets for this event are $25+GST for members and $35+GST for non-members.
